Char Dham Yatra is a religious tour and you have to go for treks to visit temples. So be prepared and energetic. Drive to Janki Chatti and then start trek to Yamunotri (7 kms trek). You can also opt for pony ride or doli instead of trekking. People believe to have a bath in Jamnabai Kund and cooking some raw rice in Surya Kund hot water to have it as Prasad of Yamunotri. Witness the mesmerizing view of Aarti offered to Divya Shila and to main deity Yamunaji. Afterwards drive back to Barkot and stay overnight.
Next morning drive to Uttarkashi that is approx. 100 Kms distant from Barkot. This city is situated on banks of Ganga.The drive will take approx 4 hours. Visit Shivgufa on the way to Uttarkashi. After arrival check in Hotel. Visit Vishwanath temple and Shakti temple at Uttarkashi. Rest of the day is free for own activities or rest. Overnight stay at hotel.
Wake up early and get ready for drive to Gangotri post breakfast. Gangotri is located at an altitude of 3048 meters and surrounded by snow capped picturesque, majestic views of Himalayas and Deodar trees. Take a holy dip in Bhagirathi (origin of goddess Ganga) and Offer prayer at Gangotri temple. After veneration explore the place and then drive back to hotel room in Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at hotel.
Get ready early in the morning and post breakfast drive to Guptkashi. On the way you will see the river views of Mandakini river that comes from kedarnath. It is an approx 210 Kms and 8 -9 hrs journey. On arrival check in hotel for overnight stay at hotel.
In the morning leave for Gaurikund, which is the base for trek to Kedarnath. Located at an altitude of 3584 meters from sea level, Kedarnath trek of 14 km is quite tough for some visitors as oxygen level get low. You can hire pony or Doli if trek seems difficult to you. Kedarnath is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. On reaching Kedarnath visit the main temple and perform veneration and darshan of Lord Shivaling. Overnight stay at Kedarnath.
Wake up early for morning darshan of Kedarnath shivaling. Afterwards trek back to Gaurikund and then proceed with drive to Pipalkoti. After arrival rest at Pipalkoti hotel/Dharamshala.
Post breakfast you will driven to Badrinath that is 3 hrs run via Joshimath. Upon arrival check in hotel. Visit Badrinath temple for evening aarti. Stay overnight at hotel.
Early morning take a holy bath at Tapt kund and visit Badrivishal Brahma Kapal that is known for the Pinddan shradsh of ancestors. Afterwards go for top attractions sightseeing as Mana, Vyas Cave, Bhimkund etc. Then proceed for Rudraprayag which is approx 7-8 hrs journey. Visit on the way Narsingh Temple in Joshimath and then continue drive to Rudraprayag. Check in the hotel upon arrival in Rudraprayag. Overnight stay at Rudraprayag.
Post breakfast drive to Haridwar that is 5-6 hrs run. Go for sightseeing tour of Haridwar with Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi temple. In the evening must visit Ganga aarti at Har ki Paudi- a famous ghat on bank of Ganga.
